Hi, I’m Bennett.
I’m an industrial designer and artist from Vashon Island, WA, with a love of creativity, collaboration, and craft — and a knack for mechanical intuition and found object experimentation.
I believe that art and design should create beautiful, symbiotic connections between people, environment, and ideas. My creative work began at 17 creating found material artworks, developed through studying industrial design at Rochester Institute of Technology, and continues today in my freelance design work. Along the way, I’ve learned from and collaborated with industrial design and product development teams at Steelcase, engineers and architects as a structural CAD drafter, and mechanics and customers while working as a tech at my local bike shop.
When I’m not designing, you’ll find me playing pickleball with paddles that were my first products on the market, mountain biking in lush forests, or in the kitchen obsessing over the texture of udon noodles.
In everything I do, I’m always observing the world and finding opportunities to delightfully bring empowering ideas to life.
